Privacy policy

As of June 2026 · Information under the GDPR

1. Controller

The joint controllers for data processing on this website are:

Sami Magdouli, Artur-Becker-Straße 21, 16515 Oranienburg, Deutschland
Roque Köster / von Swieykowski Trzaska, Gärtnerstraße 31, 10245 Berlin, Deutschland
Email: info@nachteilsausgleich.app

2. General information on processing

We process personal data only where this is necessary to provide a working website together with our content and services, or where you have consented. The legal bases are in particular Article 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract or enquiry) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you open the page, technically necessary data is automatically stored in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system. This processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the purpose of secure and stable operation. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

4. Waiting list and newsletter (Brevo)

If you sign up for our waiting list, we process the data you provide (email address, optionally name and role) in order to tell you about the launch of NTA. and the pilot phase. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

For sending we use Brevo, a service of Sendinblue GmbH, Köhlerstraße 1–3, 50735 Cologne, Germany (Brevo SA, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France). Brevo processes the data on servers inside the EU. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with Brevo.

Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure: after submitting you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only once you click that link are you added to the list. This is how we make sure the sign-up really came from you.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, via the unsubscribe link in every email or informally to info@nachteilsausgleich.app. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for that purpose or you withdraw your consent.

5. Local storage

This website may store data in your browser's local storage in order to keep settings or form entries. That data stays on your device and is not automatically transmitted to us. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

6. Fonts and external content

This website loads no content from third-party servers (no Google Fonts, no external content delivery networks). Fonts and the CSS framework in use are served directly from our own server. No additional personal data is transmitted to third parties in the process.

7. Usage measurement

We measure how this website is used ourselves. We record the page requested, the referring address (which page the visit came from), how far a page is read and what is clicked, how long a page stays open, as well as the browser window width and language setting.

No cookie is set and nothing is stored on your device. Your IP address is not stored. From the IP address and browser identification we create an irreversible check value, using a random key that changes every day. This value serves one purpose only: not to count several visits on the same day twice. The daily key is deleted after 48 hours; after that the check value cannot be reproduced even with the original IP address. Recognition across several days or across other websites is therefore impossible.

The measurement runs entirely on our own server. No third-party analytics service is involved and no data is passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to understand which content is needed and to improve the site accordingly. Recorded events are deleted after 400 days at the latest.

If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” setting, nothing is measured.

8. Cookies

This website sets no tracking or marketing cookies. The usage measurement described in section 7 works without cookies as well. A cookie consent banner is therefore not required.

9. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20), as well as to object (Article 21) and to withdraw consent you have given (Article 7(3) GDPR). To do so, contact info@nachteilsausgleich.app.

10. Right to complain

You have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about how we process your personal data, in particular in the member state where you live or where the alleged infringement took place.
